erry is a retired arts educator who served various school districts in Illinois as both a teacher and administrator for 34 years. He has taught both chemical and digital photography in the Maine Township High Schools in Des Plaines and Park Ridge, Illinois. Recently he started a  digital photography program for the Des Plaines Senior Citizens and area camera clubs.

Jerry Hug is available for teaching the following classes and/or group instruction.

• Large format photography along with medium and 35 mm cameras.
   
• Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Black & White Photography. Course content includes: composition, exposure (Zone System of pre exposure) and the development of the exposed film.
   
• Black & White darkroom printing which includes: Setup of darkroom, use of variable contrast filters and papers, development of the prints, toning and drying, matting and mounting ready for framing.
   
• Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Digital Photography using film or digital capture. The digital curriculum includes the use of  - Photoshop 7 and Photoshop Elements 2.0 and inkjet printers.
   
• Jerry is also available for individual/private tutoring in all of the above subjects.
